Every diamond is graded on Cut, Colour, Clarity and Carat weight - the famous 4 Cs. Of these, Cut has the biggest impact on a diamond's sparkle, because it governs how light bounces back to your eye. A well-cut smaller diamond will often out-sparkle a larger, poorly-cut stone. When you visit us in-store, we'll show you the same stone under different lighting so you can see exactly what each grade means in person.
Certification protects your investment
A diamond certificate from an independent laboratory confirms a stone's grading and gives you confidence in its value. We're always happy to talk you through a certificate and explain what each line means - and what it means for the price.
Choose a setting for your lifestyle
A claw setting maximises sparkle, while a bezel or channel setting protects the stone for hands-on, everyday wear. There's no single 'best' setting - only the one that suits how you live. This is exactly the kind of thing worth discussing with a jeweller face to face.
